MiniRemote Support

Basic troubleshooting help. This page can be expanded later with more details.

  • App cannot find my Mac.
    Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, and confirm the macOS client is running.
  • Connection drops during use.
    Check Wi-Fi stability, disable VPN temporarily, and keep the Mac awake while using MiniRemote.
  • Input is delayed or laggy.
    Move closer to the router, reduce network congestion, and close heavy network apps on the same network.
  • Buttons do not control slides/media.
    Verify the target app is active on your Mac and that MiniRemote has the needed system permissions.
  • Connected, but pointer does not move on Mac.
    Add MiniRemote to Accessibility in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
